What if I've already read the book?
Well, then it sounds like you will have lots to contribute to our community discussions! Even if you've already read it, the letter, the treat, the discussion, and the community conversation are all new. You can always use that month to reread with fresh eyes, or pass the book along to a friend and dive straight into the extras.
Can I cancel my subscription?
We ask readers to commit to a full quarter rather than month to month because the community, discussions, and Fireside Chats episodes are built around that season together. You're never locked into anything beyond the current quarter, and we'll always give you a heads up before the next one opens.
When will my first box arrive?
Boxes ship out around the 1st of each month throughout your quarter, so your first one will arrive around a month after enrollment closes. From there, you can expect a new box, right on schedule, each month of your season. This quarter runs from October-December 2026.
What if I don't like a book?
That's part of being in a reading life together, not every book will be a favorite even for us, and that's alright. We choose titles we believe in, but taste is personal. Even on the months a book doesn't land for you, the conversation in the community often brings something worth showing up for anyway.
Is this a good gift?

What if I miss the cart open window?
Enrollment opens four times a year, and once a season fills, it's closed until the next one. If you miss a window, the kindest thing we can do is let you know the moment the next one opens, so join our list and you'll be the first to know.
